What makes me different from everyone else? Well, that's easy - my laugh! Her hee! FAQ Have you always laughed like that? No, I did not laugh like that as a baby. It started sometime in junior high, I think. What causes it? No clue. The best hypotheses are that 1) I swallowed a squeaky toy and 2) I have laugh cancer. Can you laugh normally? That IS my normal laugh. There are times I chuckle "normally," but it usually means I'm not laughing very hard. Laugh! That's not a question, and I can't laugh on command. Neither can you. What's wrong with you? Nothing...except maybe laugh cancer. Be nice! Are you doing that on purpose? This is my least favorite question. 1. No, I'm not. 2. Why would I? 3. I think if I were going to make up a laugh, it would be something more believable than "her hee." 4. Why would anyone make up a laugh? 5. Do you know how much work it would be to remember to laugh a different way every time? That's ...

So far, my alliterative plan of school + sleep + social life (+ sanity) is working out just dandily. Fridays are my favorite days right now, because it's my day off and I only have two classes. After 11:30, I have freedom! (Until observations start...sigh.) This Friday was reminiscent of the best parts of summer in that I got to spend about 12 consecutive hours with the Knights of Ubiquity and friends. I went out to lunch at Pita Jungle, which was delicious - so much so that I went again tonight (although in Peoria instead of Tempe) with a very old friend to celebrate 17 years of friendship. (I am constantly in search of a döner kebap substitute, so I keep trying different gyros. Pita Jungle's was delicious, but it's just not the same! The shawarma I had tonight was delicious, too. I do so love middle eastern/Mediterranean food! I need to eat it more often. Oh so scrumptious.) The rest of the afternoon ended up being movie at Matt's ( The Italian Job ), dinne...

A Week in the Life

Well hello lovely reader! It has been indeed quite some time since my last post, which clearly means I have been off enjoying real life. The problem with extensive time in the real world is that when I come back to the computer, there's a lot to catch up on, and it's hard to do it all justice. So here is my attempt to sum up the last week in it's awesome entirety. WARNING: very long post. Proceed at your own risk. Wednesday Last Wednesday, after a morning of grocery shopping and cleaning, I went to the airport to pick up John. I parked my car and entered the forgotten realm that is Terminal 2 at Sky Harbor. Along with perhaps five other people, I sat anxiously outside the security line, pacing and waiting for John to disembark. I knew he had landed, and I kept waiting to catch sight of combat boots walking down the terminal amide the throngs smattering of other passengers. No such luck. Eventually, I get a call from him asking where I am. Now, Terminal 2 is the d...
