Tonight was the first time I enjoyed reading a text book in years, and all because I got to read birth stories and look at cute pictures of babies all evening.

Sigh.

I'm into alliteration recently. Besides my own current penchant, however, if you continue reading there will be a little more explanation as to the abundance of E's in the title of this post. This whole weekend has been wonderful fun, which has kept me from blogging. As much as I would like to stick to the idea of blogging every day, real life is much more important than the internet facsimile, so I chose live interaction (and sleep). frustrations of flirting

"If I'm overtly flirting with someone, they've already been friend-zoned."  - Annie Flirting is fun, there's no doubt.  Flirting with someone who flirts back is even more fun.  But Annie has a point - it's easiest to flirt with someone you don't really like "that way."  When you know someone is just a friend, it's easy to be a little outrageous, because there's no risk.  You're friends, and you're unlikely to spoil that friendship with some silly flirting.  But when it's someone you like?  Whole 'nother story. My First Menu Plan

I'm really rather anxious to start a new blog, now that I'm all married and stuff.  A grown up, big girl, married woman blog.  Where I talk about how great life is with my husband as we learn to smush two lives into one, and do domesticky things like post my menu plans and talk about budgeting and making my house a home and whatnot.  And occasionally still ramble on nonsensically and make up words. Really, though, JW and I are quite happy, and the point of this post is to post my menu plan.  It's a thing I'm attempting - as well as very moderate couponing.  And by that, I mean actually using coupons.  No extreme couponing here.  The only reason I'm posting this is it gives me a way to keep myself accountable by having it out there, and I can link to recipes if necessary.
